GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE(GEC), Khagaria is one of the new Government Engineering College established by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology. It has started its first academic session 2019 in campus of Government Polytechnic, Purnea, Bihar. The new engineering college have four engineering branches – Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Computer Science Engineering (IoT and AI & ML), with an intake of 60, 60, 120 and 120 per branch respectively and 360 students in total.
