Entrance Test

Admission to the four-year B.Tech program at GEC Khagaria is facilitated through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE), conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. Prospective candidates are encouraged to participate in both the BCECE and JEE Main examinations.

Minimum Qualification

  • The minimum academic qualification for admission through an entrance examination is a pass in the final examination of the Intermediate (10+2 system) or its equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final examination may also apply for provisional admission.
  • All provisional admissions will be canceled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination is not submitted at the time of counseling.
  • If a student is later found ineligible, even after admission, their admission will be canceled. All admissions are subject to document verification. The BCECE Board’s decision on eligibility is final.

Qualifying Examinations for Engineering Stream

  • Intermediate Examination, Bihar Intermediate Education Council
  • 10+2 Examination, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi
  • 10+2 Examination, Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi
  • Any +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of a recognized Central or State Board
  • 3 or 4-year diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
