Electrical Engineering

The Department of Electrical Engineering was established in the year 2019 and offers 60 seats. The department provides a comprehensive Under Graduate (UG) B.Tech program designed to equip students with the knowledge and tools necessary for success in the field of Electrical Engineering. The first batch of undergraduate students graduated in the year 2023.

The department has eight regular faculty members with a wide range of teaching and research interests, supported by well-qualified and experienced technical staff. The faculty is actively engaged in research areas such as power system operation and control, renewable energy resources, power electronics product development, robotic devices, next-generation controllers, automation for agriculture, path planning algorithms for unmanned vehicles, and intelligent control of power systems.

All departmental laboratories are well established with adequate facilities including modern hardware, licensed software, and essential safety measures to support both UG curriculum and research activities.
