  1. Open and Short Circuit Test of a Single Phase Transformer.
  2. Polarity Check of a Single Phase Transformer.
  3. Regulation of Single Phase Transformer by Direct Loading Method.
  4. To Obtain Efficiency and Voltage Regulation of a Single Phase Transformer by Sumpner’s Test.
  5. Performance of Parallel Operation of Two Single Phase Transformer.
  6. Open and Short Circuit Test of Three Phase Transformer.
  7. To Study Load Test on DC Shunt Motor & Plot the Armature Current vs Speed, Armature Current vs Torque, Torque vs Speed and Output vs Efficiency Characteristics of the Motor.
  8. To Study Load Test on a DC Series Motor
  9. To Study Load Test on a DC Compound Motor.
  10. To Obtain Efficiency of a DC Shunt Machine using Swinburn’s Test.

  1. To Study Load Test on Single Phase Induction Motor.
  2. To Study No Load & Blocked Rotor Test on Single Phase Induction Motor.
  3. To Study Load Test on Three Phase Squirrel Cage Induction Motor.
  4. To Study Load Test on Three Phase Slipring Induction Motor.
  5. To Study No Load & Blocked Rotor Test on Three Phase Slipring Induction Motor.
  6. To determine speed control of a Three Phase Induction Motor by (i) keeping v/f ratio constant (ii) increasing frequency at the rated voltage.
  7. Make connection of DOL Starter/Star-Delta Starter/Auto Transformer Starter/Rotor Resistance Starter for appropriate three phase induction motor.
  8. To connect two 3-phase induction motor in cascade and study their speed control.
  9. To Study Open Circuit & Short Circuit Test on Three Phase AC Generator.
  10. To Preform Load Test on Three Phase AC Generator
